Troops, lords, mercenaries and the map is now done. The year is still 1290 and aimed to convert it from native to a more medieval 2 total war feeling. The mod is not 100% historically accurate as certain features being less accurate make the mod more fun, however a lot of the mod, with the help of Lucius, includes historically accurate features. This mod aims to convert Calradia into late 13th Century Britain, not long after the war between Scotland and England, which would last until 1328, started. Hiya, partners! I've played "1866" mod to death for years and -of course- I added my touches to this great mod over those years these touches amassed and transformed the mod, little by little. You'll ride into El Paso a stranger, but will you ride into the sunset as a legend of the west? Climb into your saddle and experience one of the wildest places in the west. All the changes included are mostly just a patchwork of different elements borrowed either from other M&B mods or other games.ġ866 aims to bring the atmosphere of the most famous western movies to Mount and Blade. In particular, I think he made the tutorial make a lot more sense than the commercial game! Even if I don't exactly agree with how it was done altogether, I still think it's worth stating. It’s a FANMADE revision and in no way attempts to be a continuation of the original mod. But I would download it anyway because helping people is nice, you can fix things in it, and it shows promise. It's definitely in the early stages of development. The Thirty Years' War mod of Soviet Conscript is not something I would classify as a super mod yet. Some bits are rough around the edges or weren't modded to fit with the new setting, but not bad at all. New troops, new armor, new factions, and the ability to take a break from guns and Western/Near Eastern armors and weapons for a bit. Takes place in a fantasy world based on Japan with some magic thrown in, and a whole new world to look at. Kengeki Gaidan WF&S: For those of you looking for a feel closer to Native or a setting change from Europe, this is the closest. History nerds and/or fans of the source material (Sienkiewicsz's Trilogy and other related literature) will appreciate what it has to offer. Boatloads of new items and soldier types. Heritage of Hussaria: Amazing mod for historical accuracy and balance. Rebalanced features, new graphics, new units, choices when starting your game, a map that's bigger and has tons of "Easter Eggs" to filter through and find, Prussian culture with Prussian units, and finally a working system for creating your own faction. WF&S Enhanced/Enhancement Mod: Like Vanilla, but more. Overall a decent overhaul that is like Native but aggressively flavored, and probably the one I'd play most. It' a bit buggy when it comes to troops using grenades, but otherwise very good. A Revised map both in graphics (finally! Snow in the Arctic circle!) and in size (more settlements down to Bucharest), a raised stat cap, fixing some of WF&S's more controversial and troublesome things like the tiered recruitment, and other general improvements. GESIA Mod Pack: A great All-Rounder compilation of a lot of other mods that go very well together. It include a lot of graphical overhauls, rebalancing, new companions, new items, new features on the "Masters" and the like. I'd suggest looking through both the Talesworld board on it and the Moddb here.īut I'd personally recommend (as a Solo only afficionado):Ĭsatadi's: To the best of my knowledge it's the only mod I'd classify as a Super Mod that is still being updated, so pop in some time and try it out for a spin. Really, it depends what you're looking for.
